Goals of Board

* Accurate information about the kind, extent and significance of exotic weed species in San Juan County.
* Coordinated efforts to detect and prevent the spread of noxious weeds.
* Improved management practices for rights of way, utility corridors and land-based enterprises such as agriculture and forestry to achieve biodiversity goals.
* An informed and involved citizenry active in weed awareness & management.
* Broad-based support from among government, educational institutions, civic organizations, churches and other interested groups so that noxious weed awareness is a community-wide commitment.
